Who is responsible

What I collect

Via the contact form:

• Required: your name and email address.
• Optional: phone, preferred date, location, service of interest, and your message.

When you visit the site:

• Standard server request data (IP address, user agent, timestamp) is processed briefly by the hosting provider to serve the page. No cookies are set by this site.
• If you choose to load an Instagram reel embedded on the Portfolio page, you will see a consent screen first. Loading the embed allows Instagram (Meta) to set its own cookies under Meta's privacy policy.

Why I collect it

Contact form data is used to respond to your enquiry and, if a project follows, to plan and deliver it. Server-side request data is used to operate the site and diagnose issues.

Legal basis

Pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest in responding to enquiries directed at me (Art. 31 Swiss FADP / Art. 6 GDPR where it applies). Submitting the contact form constitutes consent to be contacted at the email address you provide.

Who processes data on my behalf

The data submitted through the contact form passes through these processors:

1. Vercel Inc. (US-headquartered) — hosts the website and runs the serverless function that receives the form. The function is pinned to the Frankfurt region (fra1) for this site.
2. Resend, Inc. (US-headquartered, EU-West data residency in Ireland) — delivers the contact email. A copy is briefly retained in the Resend dashboard for delivery diagnostics, then deleted.
3. Proton AG, Switzerland — operates the mailbox at contact@cj3media.ch, where your message ultimately lands.

No data is shared with anyone outside these processors.

International transfers

The data path for the contact form stays within the EU and Switzerland (Frankfurt → Ireland → Switzerland). Vercel and Resend are headquartered in the United States; where any incidental transfer to the US occurs (for example via provider-side support tooling), it relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses with the respective provider.

How long I keep it

I keep your message and any subsequent correspondence for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and complete any project that follows. After that, I may keep relevant emails for a limited period for legal, tax, or warranty reasons, then delete them.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set its own cookies. It uses Vercel Speed Insights, which collects anonymous Web Vitals metrics (such as page load time) without cookies or persistent identifiers.

Embedded Instagram content is consent-gated. No Instagram cookies or scripts load until you actively choose to load an embed.

Your rights

Under the Swiss FADP and, where applicable, the GDPR, you can ask me to:

• Tell you what data I hold about you
• Correct or update it
• Delete it
• Restrict how I use it
• Object to my use of it
• Provide a portable copy

To exercise any of these, email contact@cj3media.ch with the request. I'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, for EU residents, your local data protection authority.

Updates

If this policy changes materially, I'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, post a notice on the site. The current version applies to data you submit today.
